The dormitory for vulnerable girls at Ktiti, funded by the generosity of donors to our Global Giving project, needed only the water harvesting to complete the project, with the building finished and solar panels installed. The £1200 cost of this final piece of the jigsaw was met by a £600 donation from Kinver Rotary Club, matched by a £600 Foundation grant from Rotary District 1060.
The building is now fully occupied and the water harvesting is supplying water for washing, showering and laundry. In addition, others in Ktiti are benefitting as the water is also used in the adjacent kitchens. The whole project will benefit countless lives over the coming years.
