Kinver Rotary Club is delighted to congratulate Kate Oakley, founder of the charity Planting for Hope Uganda, has been selected by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland as one of only six recipients of the prestigious RGBI Community Champions Award.
The club nominated Kate to Rotary District 1060 for the award and her nomination was selected by District Governor Tim Bushell to be forwarded to RGBI who received nominations from across the whole of the British Isles.
This award is given for outstanding work in the community at home and abroad and Kate’s tireless drive to empower the community of Kititi by giving them hope through a self-supporting and sustainable future.
