College student Megan Barlow pictured
receiving an award from Kinver Rotary Club to acknowledge her efforts in her
final year at Kinver High School when she organised a song and dance evening
involving year 6 and 7 students that raised more than £600 for Cancer research.

(right), Chairman of the club’s Youth Services Committee, presented Megan with a piece of commemorative
crystal and commented: “One of Rotary’s objectives is service in the community
; this award goes to a young lady who has shown a wonderful example of how
younger people also work for the benefit of others.”
A certificate recognising her achievement was presented to Megan by club president Dave Goring.
