Picture Postcards from The Great War.
This is a Partners Evening.
The lecture covered the subject of Picture Postcards sent to the troops in the first World War. They ranged from the humerous to outright propoganda. As many as 5 million were sent to and from the front each week, these were the text messages of the day.
The name for a collector of postcards is a Dentiologist.
