Saltburn Rotary Club Raises £1,100 for GNAAS

Saltburn Rotary Club has presented a cheque for £1,100 to the Great North Air Ambulance Service following its recent music fundraiser.

Rotarians were joined by friends, family members and members of Rhythm and Co. for a visit to the GNAAS Operations Centre. The group toured the centre and aircraft while learning more about the lifesaving service provided across our region.

The pilot explained the helicopter’s capabilities, while a Trauma Consultant and two specialist paramedics described the emergency medical care delivered by the service.

We would like to thank everyone who attended, donated or otherwise supported the music fundraiser. Your support helped us raise this fantastic amount for a service that makes a vital difference to people across the North East.

Plans are already under way for another major music event, look out for our 2027 Valentines Day Band Night.
