National Immunisation Day 2015

Dave and Anne Sadler travelled to the most at risk areas of India to help immunise thousands of children, under 5 against Polio. Both said that it was a wonderful and fulfilling experience doing what Rotary does best-helping others at home and overseas

District Conference

Bowling in the Sunshine

A very pleasant morning was spent in the sunshine when Saltburn Rotary edged a hard fought bowls match against Saltburn Cons Club. Both teams then enjoyed a beer or two and BBQ at the Cons Club who showed great hospitality. Let's do it again!

RIBI Conference at Harrogate

It was a welcome return to Harrogate when Mal & Sue, Paul & Elspeth, Judith & Tom and Dave & Anne attended the Rotary GB&I Conference. A weekend of great fellowship and speakers. Highlights included Simon Weston's speech & the dinner dance

District Conference

Five club members and their partners attended District 1030 Conference in Peebles.

GSE Team Visit from District 2482 (Bulgaria)

The GSE Team from District 2482 (Bulgaria) were hosted by the club for 4 days. As well as trips to York & Whitby they gave a presentation to Rotarians from the Rotary clubs of Saltburn, Guisborough, Redcar and Stokesley at Saltburn Golf Club.

District 1030 Games for the Disabled 2012

Four Members of the club, Bob Storey, Mal Douglas, Mike Coldwell and Dave Sadler assisted with the indoor bowls competition at the games held at Eston.

Saltburn Athletic Gala Day 2012

Club members Mal Douglas, Paul Chappell, Don Hibbert, Peter Holbert and Peter Johnson turned out to again take part in the SAFC Gala Day, providing tournaments for 4 junior age groups and raising around £1000 for the football club

Zipwire off the Baltic. Newcastle

7 brave souls including Foundation Chair Judith Ord, former GSE team member Helen Ord & Anne Sadler, wife of DGE Dave literally got the new Rotary year off to a flyer by taking part in DG Celia's Zipwire event raisng £560 for MS & £800 for local causes

RYLA 2011

The members and their partners were treated to a splendid account of the experiences of Saltburn's two RYLA candidates. Well done to Rtn's Mal Douglas, Dave Tabner and Mike Coldwell for making it happen
