BSVI Rotary Quiz 2013
A very enjoyable evening as can be seen from the winning team pictured here
On Saturday evening (23rd February 2013) some of us and our wives, partners and friends took part in the Bournemouth Society for the Visually Impaired Rotary Quiz evening. To our amazement one of our teams won first prize and not only that, but the other two teams finished joint second 'and no we were not the only teams playing'!
The questions from the Quiz-master Philip Tarrant were good and varied.
His staff did an excellent job of hosting us.
The fish and chips was piping hot and delicious and washed down with some very nice wine.
All conducted in a nice friendly atmosphere.
We all had a very enjoyable evening.
You will be pleased to know the evening made a net profit of approximately £340 for the BSVI and they intend to hold the event again next year between the Bournemouth Rotary Clubs.
