• Rotarians Colin Brodie and Peter Herring sourced the bikes by selective use of Facebook Marketplace. After giving them a check over, clean, and polish they were passed on to our friends at the Colchester Anti Loo–roll Brigade to distribute. The receiving women and children were extremely grateful and hugely appreciated the freedom the bikes had provided them with.
• A note was attached to each bike asking that when they were finished with their bike to please let us know so that we could pick it up and then donate it to Colchester Re-Cycle for passing on to Africa. Re-cycled bikes, re-cycled!
