Rotary supports Accessible Boating
Rushmoor Rotary donated £1000 to Accessible Boating to help pay for a new engine in the Dawn, a specially adapted canal boat used by the elderly and those with disabilities.
The Rushmoor Club regularly hire the boat and take appropriate groups for trips. They (the Rotarians ) are all trained by the Accessible Boating organisation before being allowed to take the boat out! The money towards the engine came from the Rotarians themselves not from the charity funds collected on the street collections etc.
