Are you a male-only club?
- No; male-only Rotary clubs are a thing of the past. People of all genders, ethnicities and ages are welcome.
Do you have to be invited to join?
- No; just come along to our meetings or events and ask to join if you like what you see.
You have both a charity and a social programme, is there something happening most months?
- Our club calendar is always well-filled with organising fundraising events, doing service projects in the community and enjoying social events. There is a good mix of daytime and evening activities.
You meet weekly, do I have to attend?
- Nothing is compulsory, just come when you can.
Do you have a meal at your weekly meetings?
- No, crisps and peanuts is about it!
Do you have to dress up for the weekly meetings?
- No, just come in what you feel comfy. Shorts, T-shirts and sandals are popular in summer.
Are there any rituals at your meetings, like the Freemasons?

How many club members do you have?
- We tend to average around 30
Am I able to bring a friend with me?
- Yes, bring several if you like!
What commitments do I have to make to become a member?
- To act with honesty and integrity.
Is it compulsory to support everything that is organised?

Will I be asked to write a cheque or donate throughout the year?
- No, In our club we give time, not money.
Are there any other hidden costs I will be asked to pay?
- There are no hidden costs.
Can I attend a few meetings and social events to see if I like it before I join?
- Of course, we would encourage several visits.
Do I have to bring a skill set to join?
- No, your enthusiasm is sufficient.
I want to list charity work on my CV, can I state Titsey Rotary if I join?
- Of course, in our experience prospective employers are encouraged by Rotary membership.
Can I and my partner both join?
Is the club religious?
- No. It is also not political. We welcome people of all faiths and beliefs.
How much time do I have to give?
- No commitment, just do what you can, when you can.
Can I really be a member of a world wide organisation for £1.93 a week? Is there a catch, please explain?
- There is no catch, for less than the price of a coffee on the High Street you can become a member of one of the largest clubs in the world and be welcomed at any Rotary Club across the world!
