Following the successful Oxted Boot Fair last August, which raised over £4000 for charities and good causes, Titsey Rotary Club donated £1200 to Master Park “in lieu of rent”. The Park’s management committee has used that money to purchase a “glass and litter vacuum machine” (essentially a “glass hoover”) to pick up broken glass and other dangerous items from the park. In the past, the glass shards were painstakingly collected by hand, a back-breaking and dangerous task, but now the glass can be cleared using the new machine.
