Rochford Rotary Help to keep Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Flying

Rotarian Alan Harvey handed a cheque for £3,000 to aircrewman Paramedic Adam Pitcairn at the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance operational Base at Earls Colne in Essex.

As well as the well known helicopters the Essex and Hearts Air Ambulance have some High powered Volvo road ambulances. Kitted out to the same high specification as the aircraft they are able attend casulties at times when conditions preclude the use of a helicopter
