There were a few organised activities held at the show this year.
The usual football challenge and a shared venture with members from the Inner Wheel Club of Newton Aycliffe of a compendium of indoor games.
Additionally two of our members undertook a static "coast to coast" bike ride, raising money and promoting "Active Aycliffe" and in particular the "Get Cycling Group" that meets at the Pioneering Centre at Cobblers Hall.
A thoroughly enjoyable two days having fun with all of the spectators and participants.
However the most memorable or should I say remarkable part of this show was the fact that we got soaked erecting the tents and structures, and again when we dismantled them. However during the show itself, we escaped the torrential downpours that seemed to hit everywhere around us.
