 WHAT DO WE DO IN WESTHILL?

  • We help to organise the Westhill Gala in June, and man stalls to make money for charity and have fun.

  • We assist the pupils from Westhill Academy to attend a Rotary Young Leaders programme, send a pupil to Canada to join Adventure in Tourism and a Euroscholar trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg

  • We organise the Primary School's Quiz. We also run a quiz for up to 50 club and school teams

  • We take a leading part in  organising the special day out in June for up to 400 disabled children in the Aberdeen area

 WHAT DO WE DO OVERSEAS? 

We give financial support to several Rotary International projects including :-

Sanddams

Goat & Pig Projects in Indonesia and Vietnam

The Rotary Foundation

Shelter Box and Aqua Box Supplies

Christmas Shoe Boxes for Eastern Europe

The eradication of Poliomyelitis in the world

Mercy Ships and their hospital in Sierra Leone

The Rotary Foundation is easily the largest non-government sponsor of student exchange and we are always pleased to welcome Rotary Group Study Exchange visits and to host individual overseas students and scholars for longer stays.
