Basingstoke Deane Rotary
We meet every Tuesday evening (except following a bank holiday) at 7:30pm at Test Valley Golf Club. We have just under 30 members of all ages, many are still working but even those who are not are still active and passionate about making a difference in our community.

We have get-togethers on the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings in the Month (except bank holidays) 7.15pm at the Gabardine Bar in London Street.
We are a fast-growing team of 22 members with a good mix of age and gender. We have a flexible and innovative approach to helping others and enjoy what we do.

'What We Do' Main Pages:
Basingstoke Deane Rotary is an active participant of the the Wessex Rotary Shoebox Scheme - collects and sends shoeboxes filled with gifts to disadvantaged children in Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, and Ukraine ensuring they receive them for Christmas

A fund-raising initiative between us and the Hampshire Hospitals Charity to fund essential Respiratory Equipment for Basingstoke & Noth Hants Hospital - See details for Just Giving page

Students at BCoT turned our £200 seed money to £800 donated to the 2 supporting charities St Michaels Hospice and Hampshire Hospitals Charity.

Every year, usually the last Sunday in January we arrange for the Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines to play at the Anvil. We are graced with the Chelsea Pensioners adding to the delight of the audience.

Every year we look for young people ideally aged 16-17 to send on this amazing leadership course run by Rotary which is not only fun but teaches many skills. Its normally in the summer but its never too early to express an interest.

Every year we run an exchange with a Rotary Club in our Twin Town of Braine L'Alleud where we stay in each other's houses, visit places of interest and generally have a wonderful time. This year we went to Braine L'Alleud!
