Club visit to Hardy's Plants to see their show garden

About 10 years ago we had a talk by Rosy Hardy of Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants of Freefolk. Since then they have been regular Gold Medal winners at Chelsea Flower Show - 24 in total. Hardy’s had decided that 2020 would be their last year at Chelsea, but of course the show was canceled. The 2021 show will take place but not until September and that does not give Hardy’s time to grow the plants they will need for their show garden.

So Hardy’s plan is to build their show garden in their nursery in Freefolk and open it to the public from May 18th.

Every year we run an exchange with a Rotary Club in our Twin Town of Braine L'Alleud where we stay in each other's houses, visit places of interest and generally have a wonderful time. This year we were in Basingstoke!
