The agenda for the business meeting will be as follows:

Rotary Club of Newcastle upon Tyne 2025 Special General Meeting 12th September 2025 1.00pm 

1. Welcome by President– focus of meeting     

2. Confirmation of Notes of Previous Meeting and any matters that need to

be dealt with today                                                                               

3. Reports from committee or council member

i. Finance - receive and approve the examined club accounts

for the year ending 30th June 2025

ii. Elections -elect by ballot the president for the next year but

one (this person will be president nominee 2025/26,

president elect 2026/27 and president 2027/28)

To elect vice president(s), secretary, and treasurer for

2026/27

To elect the voting delegate(s) and substitute(s) for the

Rotary GB&I Annual Business Meeting to be held on the

14th of May 2026.

iii. Correspondence: Toy Box Information, RYLA dinner,

c) Public Relations

d) Service Projects (including community, international, vocational and youth service).
