After lunch we will have a talk about Maggie's Centre in Newcastle
Maggie's Centres exist to help people take back control when cancer turns life upside down, with professional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries. Our Club supported the work when the building in Newcastle, which adjacent to the Freeman Hospital, was opened in and have offered soem support since. There may be an opportunity for those who are interested to visit the centre on a future occasion.
