MORPETH ROTARY THREE WAY QUIZ WINNERS
A good crowd of members and visitors from Rotary, Lions and Inner Wheel turned up at the golf club for the annual battle of brains that is Morpeth Rotary Three Way Quiz. The meal of melon balls and beef bourguinon set a high standard from the start for the three teams to battle it out.
Adopting a government Rwanda Bill approach, question master Alan Barron asserted that whatever the facts, the answers on his card were the true answers.
There were four general rounds, a music round and a picture round of unusual images of Morpeth. Difficult to believe but some did not realise that a large building with an R on it was Rutherfords.
Rotary won with Lions very close behind and Inner Wheel a very respectable third.
