About us

Morpeth Rotary are people of action who make a difference in our community.
We offer support and raise monies for both local and international charities and communities.

Some of our recent projects include WRAP UP – we liaise with local businesses and schools in our Town to collect old or unworn winter coats and then distribute them to through local charities.

Look out for information with this years dates and locations of drop offs.

Our Tree of Light in Sanderson Arcade raises thousands of pounds each year. This year we celebrate the 12th anniversary and are supporting Great North East Air Ambulance, Contact Mnetal Health and The Dransfield Foundation.

We are involved with the middle and high schools for our Youth Competitions. This year the theme is‘Friendship’ and we are looking forward to receiving entries for Young Artist, Young Photographer and Young writer.

We have raised over £2000 for Shelter Box - sending aid around the world to where war or natural disaster strikes.

This year our annual Summer Ball raised monies for local charities - Tuny lives, Daft as a Brush and Demnetia Uk.

Our annual Band Concert will take place on Saturday 5th December 7pm at Morpeth Medodist Church.Last year Ellington Brass band celebrated their 100th anniverary and we donated monies raised to their Brass Roots section to provide instruments and tutiton.

If you would like to know more about the work we do or would like to join us please call Claire on 0780 1026636
