We were delighted to honour a deserving local individual with our High Street Star Award, celebrating the dedication, enthusiasm and community spirit that help make Godalming’s High Street such a special place.
High Street Star Award – Nathan’s Leather Shop
Godalming Rotary and the Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce are delighted to present the latest High Street Star Award to Michael Elkin of Nathan’s Leather Shop.
Michael goes above and beyond to support the local community, regularly providing chairs outside his shop for anyone who needs a rest, a chat or simply a quiet moment. He also helps local groups by closing the shop briefly to put out chairs for meetings at the nearby Baptist Church.
Thank you, Michael, for being such a welcoming and caring presence in Godalming’s High Street!
