Christmas Dinner

On behalf of the President and the Admin team, I extend an invitation to you to attend the Club Christmas Dinner at the Beaumont Hotel on the 15th December; it would be good to have a strong turnout for this annual festive event, especially as the President has invited his cousin, the Rt Rev Matthew Porter, the Bishop of Bolton, to be our guest speaker, with his message titled "York City versus Bolton Wanderers".

I attach the menu choices (you will see that you can book two or three choices) and please reply to me at "jandkrobinson@googlemail.com" with your menu choices and simultaneously send the appropriate amount, depending on number of courses, to the Club Account (30-99-50; 26368662) marked " Christmas meal" in the reference section.

The Beaumont also insist upon a table plan being submitted before the event so that, for efficiency of service, their staff know where particular dishes are to be served; please let me know if there is anyone you particularly want to sit with - we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee this - otherwise, in the spirit of Rotary, we will simply allocate the places.

I should add that spouses/partners and guests are very welcome. Also, please do reply to me direct re bookings and not the secretary.
