Tall Tales

There is now just over three weeks until the Tall Tales Competition.

Many thanks to all of you who have indicated that you will be attending. If you have not already indicated that you will be coming, can you let either Roy Dallison or myself know as soon as possible. We will be putting the board around again at the Club meeting on Monday.

To make the event a financial success, we need to sell somewhere in the region of 80 to 100 tickets. Plainly, we cannot do this simply by selling to Club members. The evening, however, is designed to be attractive to anyone, and I would therefore encourage you to think of any friends or family who might enjoy attending the event as a guest.

Finally, we are equally happy to have the event attended by members of the general public, and by way of publicity I have prepared the attached poster. This is a further point upon which I need help from all Club members. Please consider whether you are aware of any locations where a poster could be displayed. This is especially important in areas outside of central Hexham, (which I will be covering). If you have contact with any shop, village hall or the like outside of central Hexham, please ask if they would be kind enough to display the attached.
