For the second year running, Upminster Junior School led by Mrs. Sarah Rowe, organised a Rotary Shoe Box Collection. Once again it was well supported and on Monday 4th. December Rotarians Ray Leach, Colin Davies and George Larkey went along to collect the filled boxes. For the handing over ceremony the Rotarians were joined by organiser Sarah, two Year 3 pupils Norah and Thomas and Head Teacher Alison Edgecombe.
Colin once again took the photographs and video and George and Ray took the boxes to the collection centre in Ingatestone.
A big Thank You goes to all the children and staff of UJS and we wish them a very Happy Christmas and a Happy and successful New Year from the President and members of the Rotary Club of Hornchurch and Upminster.
