Congratulation to Dick and Jean Wylie
On Tuesday 19th. March a small group of Rotarians visited the Home in Hall Lane to celebrate the 75th. Wedding Anniversary of Jean and Dick Wylie with members of their family. At the home where Dick, a founder member of the Hornchurch Rotary Club and Jean, who recently celebrated her 100th. birthday, are now residents, JVP Ray Hamilton, Hon Sec. Geoff Furzland, IPP George Larkey ,P Presidents Brian Taffs and David Bull together with David's wife Helen presented the happy couple with a bouquet of flowers and chocolates from Our Club .Those with cameras took the opportunity to record the event and Jean was particularly pleased to display the card that the couple had received from HM Queen Elizabeth. After the presentation we all enjoyed a slice and cake and a welcome cup of tea before taking our leave.
