The Environment is now Rotary's 7th Area of Focus


DISTRICT 1240 - ENVIRONMENT SUMMIT

All clubs are invited to appoint an Environment Lead or Champion who has an interest in the environmemt and is willing to organise appropriate projects, both for the protection of the environment and encourage new members for Rotary

Christmas Lights Spectacular

Christmas Light Spectacular at The Mount in Roydon raises fantastic funds for the local School each year. Supermarket Sledge collections are great Charity events as well. Watch out for Social Media announcements nearer the time.

Panglao Schools Sanitation Project - new toilet facilities and hygiene training in the Philippines

Harlow Tye was the lead for 20 clubs in Essex & E Herts (District 1240) that contributed about £9000 towards a Rotary Foundation project to provide new toilet facilities and hygiene training to primary schools in Panglao, Philippines.
