Charter Anniversary Celebration
On Thursday 27th September the Rotary Club of Halstead celebrated its 64th Anniversary (to the day) having initially been chartered on the 27th September 1948. Members and guests were treated to a very enjoyable evening at the Colne Valley Golf Club in Earls Colne, where they enjoyed a superb meal followed by entertainment from guest speaker Bill Pirie, a retired Essex Police Officer. Toasts and Speeches were also made by Club President Dave Rosoman, District Governor Ian McMeekan and President Elect Peter Davies.
