Rotary Young Artist

A competition through schools for the Rotary Young Artist of the year


In 2024 the Rotary Club of Colchester had 350 entries from 16 schools, including 7 senior schools. The entries were sorted, and  judged. Prize giving was on Friday 29th November, at Christ Church, Colchester. The top 3 in each age category will go to District.

The theme of the 2024-25 competition is Wonderful Water

The winners were:

Key Stage One winner: Maisie Mercer from Hamilton School

Key Stage Two winner; and the Overall Winner in Colchester:
Fabian Branduse from St George's School

Intermediate (11 to 14 year olds): Sahrika Nambia from Colchester County High School for Girles

Senior winner: Lacie-Marie Durrant fron St Helena School
