The idea is that we have a variety of interludes with spoken sections (some poems some reading etc) with a few carols played by the youngsters of the Colne Valley Youth Orchestra. Those carols enable the people at home to sing along should they wish. The spoken bits and the carols are all to be videoed and this will therefore ensure the volumes are consistent. There will also be further interludes of live chat and intros.
Clearly we cannot meet up together so this provides a bit of fun and festive cheer whilst those in the comfort of their own homes could eat a mince pie (or two) and drink a glass of wine....
