Coffee Morning

A coffee morning to raise fund for our community at the same time as raising awareness of Blairgowrie Rotary

Blairgowrie Rotary held a successful Coffee Morning in the Airlie Street Hall in Alyth on Saturday 27th August. It was a  super community effort, organised by Rotarian Grant Findlay and his team, and it was great to see so many people in the hall from Alyth and District as well as a good turnout from our Rotary neighbours at the Angus Glens club. The generosity of those who attended has resulted in over £500 being added to Blairgowrie Rotary’s funds for community support.

The lucky winner of the Whisky Competition was Anne Delve of Kirriemuir, who correctly identified the whisky as Cardhu. Christian Hill correctly named the cuddly Care Bear teddy as Buttercup.

There was lots of home baking and other produce available to buy, and Malcolm Davidson had made some beautiful wooden shoehorns and bowls.
