Fred Bear raising awareness and funds to end polio

2016/17 District Governor Terry Dean presents President Brenda with End Polio Bear. Our club members named him Fred Bear.

For that Rotary year club members paid £10 to take Fred Bear to places and events and return with a story and some photographs which we included on our website. At the end of the year out total contributions went to End Polio Now. We had about 30 pages of stories and photos but decided that the time had come to 'cull them'. We have kept a few which remind us of people and places - and a great fund raising idea. (DG Terry presented a bear to each club in D1240 to use to fund raise for End Polio.)
