it looks as though the Ingatestone Saddlery is fast becoming a regular venue for our Fellowship Meetings, or rather their café is. This was our third visit and our second in two months. We were again in the Snug. Twelve members and two guests attended. This time our orders were produced in quick succession instead of two at a time, which made things much smoother.
One member who intended to be there was unable to. He had to have an emergency dental appointment in the morning, with further work to be done in the afternoon. In the meantime he was not allowed to eat.
Our members were the only ones in the Snug, so we did’t disturb anyone else even though the café was doing a lively trade. One member commented that it was surprisingly easy for everyone to find a parking space. Often when we look on our way past to the Ivy Hill Hotel< the car park looks crowded. As it was a long table it was not possible to talk to everyone but there were a number of conversations going on around it.
