Fourteen of us joined John Watkins for fellowship at his house over a sandwich lunch. We gathered in the main reception room, where we could each have a glass of water, orange juice or wine. Once we had all arrived we made our way into the kitchen, where he and Susan had laid out sandwiches ready for us. (There was a plate of cheese and biscuits for our member who always chooses that as his lunch option.)
As you can see from the photograph, we then went into the dining room and enjoyed time just sitting, eating and chatting. There was apple pie or fruit salad for dessert.
We left at around our usual time of 2:15. The number present again showed how popular among members this type of meeting is. Our thanks to John and Sudan for their warm welcome and hospitality.
