(At the Chelmsford Rugby Club.) Our usual monthly meeting a week early.

Sadly, President Francis started this meeting by announcing that our member Chuda Karki died last night. This was not entirely unexpected because deteriorating health had meant he had not been able to attend meetings for over a year. He had previously been a very active Club member and led a number of international projects.

Francis did have some better news, though. We now have volunteers to lead our regular service projects for the next few months, so they will continue as usual.

We had a further discussion on venues for meetings after the end of this calendar year. Members agreed it would be helpful to have just one venue in future but it will be necessary to find a single alternative to our current two venues. Alison Moses will investigate the possibility of using a venue we tried earlier this year on a regular basis.
