Head of a smiling man wearing a paper hat from a Christmas crackerAt today’s Christmas Part we were pleased to welcome some members’ spouses, Honorary Member and Past President Brian Collings with his wife June, and Indu Tiwari. Indu has been absent for many months because of health problems.

The Ivy Hill Hotel provided a traditional Christmas meal of turkey with the appropriate trimmings, followed by Christmas Pudding. Salmon and fruit salad were available for those who wished.

President Francis chaired the proceedings. While we were waiting for coffee to be served we tried to produce origami Santas following instructions Angela Dickman gage us, or at least the more adventurous of us did. Keith Otter, Keith Dabbs and President Francis all contributed readings.

This was our last formal meeting of 2023. Next week a few members will visit Sanctus to deliver Christmas presents for them to give their clients on Christmas Day.
