Jumble Sale at Danbury Village Hall

Sat, Apr 23rd 2022 at 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Our regular spring event.

A previous jumble sale

It was great to be back at Danbury Village Hall on the afternoon of 23 April 2022 for our Jumble Sale, which we weren’t able to hold for the last couple of years owing to the Covid lockdowns.

A man standing behind a table with goods laid out, with three people in front of the table looking at themWe were, as usual, helped by the “Danbury Village Hall Ladies”, who are much more experienced at jumble sales than we are since jumble sales are a regular event at the Hall. We spent the morning setting up the tables, receiving jumble and sorting it out for display on the various stalls.

Our Jumble Sale in the afternoon raised £478 for Club funds. We are grateful to all the Club members who helped set up, who manned stalls and who helped clear up afterwards. The picture shows Indu Tiwari manning the bookstall.
