Social meeting

Our last meeting of 2021 may have been our smallest meeting ever. Just six of us attended: President Peter, four Past Presidents and a representative from our corporate member Backhouse Solicitors. It was just as well we decided to defer our proposed speaker to a later date and hold a purely social meeting instead.
Despite the very small numbers, the Ivy Hill Hotel looked after us well. We were put in a small private dining room and given a very nice meal as usual. The six of us had a leisurely chat over our lunch and didn’t leave until 2:15.
