We elected our principal officers for the next Rotary year.

Some of our members are on the steering committee and they and other members have contributed to the appeal.

We followed that with our Special General Meeting when we elected the following officers for 2021-22:

  • President: Peter Kemp
  • First Vice President: Mo Sadiq
  • Secretary: Eddie Cassels
  • Treasurer: Bob Booker
  • Assistant Secretary: Jenny Black
  • Independent Examiner: Francis Whitbread

We still have to elect a Second Vice President.

Our usual Business Meeting took place after that. We agreed to pledge up to £200 to the Donate-a-Dinner Project if the funds were needed. We also agreed to restart the 100 Club (a regular prize draw), which has lapsed during the Covid-19 crisis.

President Jan then went through the Strategic Planning document that had already been circulated to Club members. Members were asked to let her have any comments before it was finalised.
