Our congratulations to Josefine Pedersen who has been voted Young Chef of the Year in the Essex Tourism and Hospitality Awards against serious opposition.
Josefine, a pupil at Mayflower school, was the winner of our sponsored 2013 November Rotary Young Chef of the Year against pupils from Billericay School and St John’s School.
She went on to reach the district and regional finals of the Rotary Young Chef competition.
To win the Essex award at Boreham House in Chelsmford in October this year, Josefine fought off rivals from Clacton Coastal Academy, Colchester County High School for Girls and St Mary’s School for Girls.
