District New Year Celebration & Handover

All Rotarians and friends are welcome to join together for our District New Year Celebration. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of a year of Creating Hope in the World and look forward to the start of a year of spreading The Magic of Rotary.

 

District Governor Joy Palmer Cooper will highlight some of the many achievement achieved around our District during 2023-2024 and entertainment provided by William Robinson finalist of District Young Vocalist 2024.

There will time for socialising and relaxing in the fantastic lakeside venue.

 

Join us and enjoy a traditional English Sunday Afternoon Tea. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated but they must be noted on the booking form. The cost is £30.00 per person; children under 12 years are welcome and will be guests of the District.

Crocuses on Low Green in Great Ayton

Every year Rotarians plant crocus corms to raise funds to eradicate Polio Worldwide. We are nearly there with cases of wild polio confined to just two countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan, after Nigeria was declared polio free in 2020.
