We were all delighted to congratulate Leslie McIntyre when he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship at our meeting on 1st June.
Leslie has given unstinting service to Charing Cross Rotary Club for 23 years, having been an office bearer for much of that time. He was our President in 2006-07 and has also served as Secretary and Treasurer.
Leslie is one of the great Club characters who add so much to the wonderful sense of fellowship within the Club.
The presentation of a Paul Harris Fellowship is the Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs. Paul Harris founded Rotary International in 1905.
This award is a tribute to Lesle, whose life demonstrates a shared purpose with the objectives of the Rotary Foundation.
