Annual Beach Clean

Beach Cleaning takes place on Saturday 7th April. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Beach Carpark at Longhill Point at 9.00am
Everyone is asked to wear warm clothing and suitable footwear,  also to bring their own protective/working gloves. The Volunteers will be issued with bin bags and litter pickers, which are being supplied by South Ayrshire Council. The council arealso responsible for picking up the filled bags. Our volunteers will be split into two groups with the smaller group going out to Craig Tara and cleaning the beach in front of the resort. The remaining team will clean from Greenan Castle to the Millenium Bridge. People are welcome to come and help the Club in the clean up but children will need to be accompanied by parents. The task normally takes about two hours plus  and the Council collect all the filled bags. Rotarian Aistair Morrison, will be on hand to brief people regarding  procedure and matters of safety.
