Youth Competitions 2023-24
Details of this year's youth competitions are coming soon. Allander are running Young Writer, Youth Speaks and Young Musician. PS Quiz will be early next year.
Detail of the Youth Competitions will be published here in early October as well as sent to schools and youth organisations. Young writer and photographer are competitions for individuals for all ages up to age 17.
Young Muscician (Instrument and Voice) and Youth Speaks are team competitions and will be run in conjunction with secondary schools.
The Primary School Quiz will be run earlier than normal earlier in the new year.

Primary School Quiz 2023
more Annual Quiz for local EDC Primary Schools. Teams of 4 from P7. Winners were Castlehill PS who went onto the District final where they came a very credible 2nd.
Youth Competitions 2020/21
more Competitions, in 3 age groups, that are open to pupils living in or attending schools or youth organisations in Bearsden and Milngavie area.
Young Writer 2018
more Sarah Greer is presented with her certificate as 2018 Winner of the local Senior Young Writer's Competition. Young Writer is a well established and successful competition promoted by Rotary International in Britain and Ireland.
2018 Quiz District Winners - Milngavie Primary
more Following their win in our Annual Quiz for all of the Primary Schools in Bearsden, Milngavie and immediate surrounding area (13 primary schools) Milngavie have now successfully won the West of Scotland District Competition.
Young Musician 2018
more Esther Ersfold Mandujano a 4th year pupil at Douglas Academy won the Instrumental Prize at the District Final of Rotary Young Musician held in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Unfortunately Esther was unsuccessful at the Regional Final.
