The Community Chest has been established to help community and voluntary sector organisations or groups with projects that are of benefit to the wider community. The Small Grants Scheme provides non-recurrent grants of up to £500. The projects should be small-scale that provide opportunities for local people to be involved in their local community.
The following are organisations / projects that we have supported in earlier rounds:
Bakewell Swift project, to purchase swift nesting box.
Bakewell Friday club for cooking equipment.
Grants to schools to support extra-curricular activities.
Eyam warm spaces group.
Bakewerll Swimming club to support training
Bakewell Old House Museum
Community Chest Grant issue 4 opens October 5th. Closing date for entries will be Friday 8th November 2024
It is expected that successful applications will receive the funding within 6 weeks of the closing date of applications
