Rotary Amber Valley is proud to continue supporting our local community, as well as important overseas aid projects. Thanks to your generous support, we have been delighted to help a wide range of wonderful local organisations, including:

Foodbanks at the Salvation Army Ripley, Salcare at Heanor, St Andrew’s Anglican Methodist Church at Langley Mill, and Marehay and Waingroves Methodist Church

 

Alfreton Park School - financial support in setting up the Deer Shed Cafe

Codnor Community Primary School - financial support to provide playground games

Holbrook Autism School - donation towards outdoor trampoline

Holbrook Primary School - provision of library fiction books

Langley Infant School - purchase of Hi-Viz Vests

Little Eaton Primary School - provide dyslexia friendly textbooks

Lons Infant School (Ripley) - IT support

Swanwick School and Sports College - donation towards exercise track

Waingroves Primary School - to supply wooden outdoor structure for playground

 

Blend Youth Project - financial support for the provision of woodworking equipment in the Jacksdale workshop

Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre - funding to enable underprivileged children to holiday at Skegness

Give a Duck - financial support for the care of Kids with Cancer

Handley Care Farm - financial support towards providing experiences for children and adults with special needs, disabilities or mental health challenges, helping them develop new skills and grow in confidence.

Local Guide and Scout groups - financial support for overseas jamboree visits

Matlock Rugby Club - financial support for U14 team

Quackers parent/baby/toddler group Codnor - financial donation

Rotary Children’s Day Out - visit to Twycross Zoo for underprivileged and some children with special needs

Sleetmoor United, Toucans - purchase of U8 football shirts

Turners Farm Project Swanwick & Valley CIDS-  financial support to help enrich youngsters lives through outdoor learning

 

Cancer Research UK Alfreton branch - financial donation

Derbyshire Blood Bikes - donation to support the transportation of items for NHS

Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) - financial donation

Florence Shipley Residential and Community Care Home Heanor - garden vouchers and small garden tools

Friends of the Cromford Canal - supply of Hi-Viz Vests

Heage Windmill Trust - provision of outdoor seating

Kilburn Community Group - financial donation

National Arboretum - financial donation

Peak 4x4 Response - financial donation to support their work, helping the community in times of need

Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) - financial donation

Salcare Ltd - supply of branded polo shirts for volunteer staff

Sunshine and Shade – Bereavement Counselling
