10th Annual Shottle Charity Horse Ride - Sun 13th Jul at 09.00
Our very popular annual horse ride in beautiful countryside over farmland to which we have been granted access only for this event. See entry form for details - available from 10th May 2025
About us
Lots going on in our club! We take Santa on his sleigh around 12 areas in our local community each December and we have our 10th Annual Charity Horse Ride coming up on 13th July. Members have been on visits to Duke's Barn, Lea Green and Wingfield station. There's been charity evenings at Sylhet Spice and a film show at The Village Inn as well as a French Themed event there. Members enjoyed a voyage on "Birdswood", the historic narrowboat, with "Friends of Cromford Canal" (to whom we supplied branded hi-viz tabards). We also help at Croots Farm on their Open Days and Shire Horse Association events. The club is registered with the "Climate Clever" initiative and we are long-time supporters of Aquabox.
