DOOR TO DOOR COLLECTIONS: The sleigh will proceed slowly along its routes, stopping frequently, especially where groups are gathered at the roadside. Donations gratefully accepted for Rotary Charities.
RESTRICTED ACCESS: To prevent issues such as double parking, impeding emergency vehicles or lack of safe reversing space, it may prove necessary for the sleigh to avoid entering cul-de-sacs and other streets with restricted width. In these instances, the sleigh will park close to the entrance of such streets to enable the public to approach.
HEALTH & SAFETY/INSURANCE COMPLIANCE: To protect the Health & Safety of both our volunteers and the Public, street collections DO NOT take place on busy &/or main thoroughfares where traffic flow is such that it puts them and the public at undue risk. To comply with our Public Liability Insurance, with careful supervision, pictures of the sleigh with Santa will still be possible.
WARNING TO PHOTOGRAPHERS: The public are welcome to take their own photos, however, they should be aware they must seek the prior consent from anyone outside their immediate family group who is being photographed and in the case of young people aged 17 or below, must have the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian. This same consent will be required if any image is to be posted on Social Media.
DISCLAIMER: ALL INFORMATION IS CORRECT AT DATE PUBLISHED. However, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may result in last minute alteration, curtailment or cancellation to any route or venue(s).
