A little insight of things happening within Rotary Amber Valley.


At our recent meeting our new District Governor, Rob Morrison, visited us and spoke of his plans for the future. We were also pleased to be joined by Rotarians from the clubs of Belper & Duffield and Ripley. During the evening Rob presented President Chris Riggott with the Martin Tubbs Award for the work the club has done in supporting school projects in India, this mainly being led by Rotarian Val Leivers. Val also received the Rosalind Lint Beacon of Hope Award for the outstanding support she has given to Women’s and Children’s causes.

This Support Group works jointly to manage and fund our projects overseas and commitment to Rotary's worldwide charity , The Rotary Foundation in its 38-year long global campaign to END POLIO NOW, having invested over USD $ 1.5 bn.
