St Johns Primary Academy

We have been supporting the Academy on a few projects namely, Early Years Garden, Books Donations and Little Lending Library

These notes are taken from the Academy's Newsletter ................

Early Years Garden

In September the children in Reception created a beautiful garden area in their outdoor classroom. Members of Wednesfield Rotary Club volunteered their time to support the children with the planting. They also donated all of the pots, containers, compost, plants and bulbs. We are extremely grateful for their help and support in creating a wonderful outdoor resource for the children to enjoy and look after

Books Donations

Wednesfield Rotary Club have also donated many books to our Academy for our children to access. The donation included many picture books, by a range of well--known authors, for our younger children, and a wide range of non-fiction books to support the teaching of various topics across the Academy.

Little Lending Library

Wednesfield Rotary Club have also donated a shed which we are hoping to have up and running as an outdoor library for the Early Years children in the very near future. We would like to thank Wednesfield Rotary Club, especially Stan and Norma Jukes and Marion Watkins, for their kindness and generosity this year. We very much appreciate all of their support.
