The work involved excavating and laying a "weed preventing" membrane on to which will be laid wood chip "play bark" to the appropriate specification which is retained by wooden logs. Following this timber planters are installed as required. An additional area was also be prepared for the erection of an existing climbing frame which was rescued from the demolition of the old school.
The project was carried out by a team of young people on a "Prince's Trust" training programme, supervised by a Wednesfield PC and funded by The Rotary Club of Wednesfield in memory of Rotarian Hortense Davis (Deceased)
